About the event

Starting your own business and picking the right niche in no time

Please join the Facebook research team for our third annual 

Facebook Testing and Verification Workshop and Symposium!

 

We are excited to extend a special invitation to recipients of the Testing and Verification Research Award to also join us on Tuesday, November 19th for a small, pre-symposium workshop and dinner. 


Following the workshop, you're invited to join us for the symposium, taking place Wednesday, November 20th - Thursday, November 21st. The symposium aims to build meaningful collaboration and exchange between Testing and Verification scientific research and academia and industry.


As award recipients, Facebook is happy to offer to pay for your travel booked directly through our online booking tool. More details can be seen below in the 'Travel Information' section. 


This is a private event for invited guests only. We kindly ask that you please do not forward the registration information to others. Please check back on this website for updates to the agenda and speaker list.


The deadline to register through this website and book flights through our online booking tool is Friday, October 25th.

The symposium will be livestreamed for guests that are unable to attend the event in-person.

Please join us for a social reception aboard the Dixie Queen on the evening of Wednesday, November 20th.

 
DETAILS:

Facebook will provide shuttles to transport guests from the Facebook office to Tower Pier where we will board the Dixie Queen. The ship will cruise down River Thames from 7:00-9:30pm with a special siting of London's Tower Bridge opening for the Dixie Queen to pass through. Food and beverages will be served onboard. After the cruise, Facebook will again provide shuttles to transport guests from Tower Pier back to the Facebook office where guests will then arrange their own transportation home.

TRAVEL INFORMATION

Hotel & Flights

Facebook will offer to cover your roundtrip flights and hotel costs (up to four nights - Mon Nov 18, Tues Nov 19, Wed Nov 20, and Thurs Nov 21) booked directly through our online booking tool. Any extra hotel nights requested for additional personal stay will be at the cost of the guest requesting, and will not be covered by Facebook. IMPORTANT: Facebook is unable to reimburse flights, hotel accommodations, or ground transportation booked outside of our online booking tool.

Transportation

Heathrow Airport is a 1-hour drive from The Bloomsbury Hotel. We will provide you with Uber codes to travel between the airport and hotel. Codes will be provided the week before the event.

 

The Bloomsbury Hotel is a 7-minute walk or 20-minute drive from Facebook London. 

 

We will provide shuttles on Symposium Day 1 to transport guests between Facebook London and the social reception, and then back to The Bloomsbury Hotel.
